3 To Joker
Privacy Policy
In short: 3 To Joker is a card game you play against computer opponents. The free version requires an internet connection and shows ads from Google AdMob; players who buy VIP can play offline without ads. Your username, avatar, saved game and settings stay on your device. We do not run our own servers, create accounts, or use analytics. The Game does connect to the third-party services described below: Google AdMob (ads), Apple’s App Store (purchases), Apple Game Center (optional leaderboard) and connectivity-check servers run by Apple and, as a backup, Google (to confirm the free version is online).
This Privacy Policy explains how the iOS game 3 To Joker (the “Game”, formerly developed under the working title “Poker Out”), published by Arlind Kapxhiu (“we”, “us”), handles information. It applies to the Game only.
1. Information stored only on your device
The following information is created by you or by the Game and is saved locally on your iPhone or iPad using the device’s standard app storage. We do not receive it, and it is not sent to us or to anyone else:
- The username and avatar you choose in the Game (they are not linked to your real name or Apple Account);
- Your current game, scores and match progress;
- Your settings (sound, music, beginner hints, card design);
- A count of completed rounds, used to space out advertisements and the one-time App Store rating request;
- Tournament wins waiting to be uploaded to Game Center while you are offline.
Deleting the Game from your device deletes this information.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
If you have not purchased VIP, the Game shows a full-screen advertisement between rounds, after every two completed rounds, using Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC (and, for users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited). Players who purchase VIP do not receive advertisements.
To deliver, measure and protect ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the Game may collect and process information such as:
- Device and app information (for example device model, operating system version, app version, language and settings);
- Your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general (coarse) location;
- Advertising and interaction data (for example which ads were shown and whether they were tapped);
- Identifiers such as Apple’s identifier for vendors and Google-generated identifiers used for frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement;
- Diagnostic and performance information about the advertising SDK.
Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA). The Game does not ask for permission to track you through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. As a result, the Game cannot access your device’s advertising identifier, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
Personalized and non-personalized ads. Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), the Game uses Google’s consent tool (the User Messaging Platform) to ask for your choices before personalized ads are shown. If consent has not been given, or Google’s consent service cannot be reached, the Game requests non-personalized ads, which are based on contextual information rather than your interests. Where Google provides one, an “Ad privacy choices” option in the Game’s menu lets you review or change your choices at any time.
Google’s use of this information is governed by Google’s own policies:
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
- How Google uses advertising
- Google My Ad Center (manage ad personalization)
3. In-app purchase (VIP)
The Game offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase (“VIP”) that removes advertisements and unlocks cosmetic items. Purchases and restores are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details, name, email address or Apple Account information. The Game only receives Apple’s cryptographically signed confirmation that VIP was purchased (or refunded), which is checked on your device and is not sent to us. We do not use any third-party purchase-management service.
VIP also lets you play without an internet connection. Your VIP status is confirmed from Apple’s purchase records stored on your device, so it is recognized offline; restoring VIP on a new device requires an internet connection.
See Apple’s Privacy Policy and App Store & Privacy.
4. Apple Game Center (optional worldwide leaderboard)
If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, the Game uses it to show a worldwide “Tournament Winners” leaderboard. When you win a full match, the Game submits your updated total number of tournament wins to Game Center, together with a small number identifying the avatar you chose in the Game, so other players can see it next to your entry. The leaderboard shows Game Center display names (nicknames) and scores provided by Apple. The username you type into the Game is not sent to Game Center.
Game Center is operated by Apple under Game Center & Privacy. You can play without Game Center, and you can manage or sign out of Game Center in your device’s Settings app.
5. Internet connection check (free version)
The free version of the Game requires a working internet connection. When a free player opens the Game, and before each new round, the Game sends a simple request to Apple’s connectivity-check server (captive.apple.com), the same service iPhones use to detect Wi-Fi sign-in pages, and only checks whether the expected answer comes back. If Apple’s server cannot be reached or does not answer as expected, the Game sends the same kind of simple request to Google’s connectivity-check server (www.gstatic.com/generate_204) as a backup. The Game shows “Internet Connection Required” only if neither answers. These requests do not include your username, game data or any identifier created by the Game.
Like any request over the internet, each request necessarily gives the receiving company technical information such as your IP address, basic device and operating-system details contained in standard network request headers, and the time of the request. Apple handles this information under its Privacy Policy, and Google under the Google Privacy Policy. We do not receive or keep the results beyond the moment of the check. VIP players are not checked and can play offline.
6. App Store ratings
The Game may ask iOS once to show Apple’s standard rating prompt. Ratings and reviews are handled by Apple; we do not receive information about who was asked or who left a rating.
7. What we do not do
- We do not operate servers for the Game, create user accounts or ask for your email address, phone number or real name.
- Apart from the services described in this policy (Google AdMob, Apple’s App Store, Apple Game Center, and the Apple and Google connectivity checks), the Game does not send information anywhere.
- We do not use analytics, crash-reporting or marketing tools of our own.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location.
- The Game has no chat, messaging or friend features.
- We do not sell your personal information.
8. Summary table
| Information | Where it goes | Purpose |

9. Data retention and deletion
Information stored on your device remains there until you delete the Game. We do not hold copies of it. Information collected by Google or Apple is retained according to their respective privacy policies linked above. To remove your leaderboard entry or Game Center data, use the options Apple provides for Game Center; you can also contact us and we will help where we can.
10. Your choices and rights
- Ads and offline play: buy VIP to remove ads and play offline, use the in-game “Ad privacy choices” option where available, and manage personalization in Google My Ad Center.
- Tracking: the Game does not request tracking permission. You can also turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track” in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Game Center: manage or sign out in iOS Settings › Game Center.
- Local data: delete the Game to erase everything stored on your device.
Depending on where you live (for example in the EEA, the UK or certain US states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information, or to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold personal information about you ourselves, most requests are best directed to Google or Apple using the links above, but you are welcome to contact us at any time.
11. Children’s privacy
The Game is a general-audience card game and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us so we can help address it.
12. Security
Information the Game keeps is stored using the standard protections of iOS. Purchases are verified using Apple’s signed transactions, and advertising is delivered over encrypted connections by Google. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we limit what the Game handles to what it needs.
13. International transfers
Google and Apple may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States, under their own safeguards as described in their privacy policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy, for example if the Game’s features or services change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
